Pathways is an alternative education program offered to students who have dropped out of high school, or who are at risk of failure in their regular school environment. Pathways is made available through a cooperative effort between Lake Land College, the Regional Office of Education #3 in Vandalia, the Regional Office of Education #11 in Charleston and the CEFS Economic Opportunity Corporation in Effingham. Additional agreements with Paris District #95, Crestwood District #4, Marshall District #C-2, Chrisman District #6, and Shelbybille District #4 help provide funding for the Shelbyville, Paris Crestwood and Paris sites.

 

Currently Pathways has class sites at:

Morning classes meet from 8:45 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. and afternoon classes meet from 12:15 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday through Friday.
